ABOUT THE NEWTON COUNTY FARMER'S MARKET

This is a personal page about a Farmer's Market that I participate in.

FARMER'S MARKET WILL BE OPEN
AS LONG AS WE HAVE PRODUCE-
MANY OF US HAVE FALL CROPS
THAT ARE DOING WELL.
CHECK US OUT!

The Newton County Farmer's Market was begun in 1999, through a cooperative effort on the part of the County Extention Agent, Jack Boles and a group of local producers. We were looking for a steady local market for our produce and related items. We have many people in our area who garden and craft for whom the Market would provide a stable outlet.

The market is for items produced in Newton and surrounding counties , here in Northwest Arkansas. While small, we are steadily building with 15 vendors at this time.

The market meets every Wednesday through season ,
just south of the Jasper Square on Hwy 7.
Two local landmarks around us are Ernie's "Dollar Spot" and "Sharon K's Restaurant".
Watch for the signs on HWY 7.
Most of the Vendors are set up by 7 AM and stay until sold OUT.>
