Rules To Live by at Herbhome

We think that if things are up front, it is always easier...
Rules are few and simple:

You must not have any legal issues-international visitors will need to show paper work-USA, no wants or warrants.

No drugs or alcohol on the place. You will be asked to leave immediately. If you intend to party, please plan on sleeping there.

We reserve the right to ask you to leave at anytime-we will give you 24 hours notice, but issues do arise, often personal or health, related that we may have to ask you to leave over. We make every effort NOT to do this, but it can occur. So please do have a fall back plan. This has only happened once –in about 150 guests, but we want to be sure you know it can happen.

Currently, we cannot accommodate guests under 18.

We ask that you keep contention off the place. If there is an issue, we will be glad to have a “council” at breakfast to try and resolve it.

Any food that you don’t wish to share needs to be kept in a cooler. We have found that if it is in the Farm kitchen it can become a problem, if some else were to use it accidentally...everything in the kitchen is for everyone's use.

If you don’t want to do a job, please let Jeannie know, rather than leaving it undone.

Pets are welcome but must have current shots and be on a leash or chain for safety-we have large guard dogs, who usually accept others, but not always…

We think it best, if possible, that you have your own transportation. If you don’t, please realize that trips to town are limited. While you are welcome to ride with us, we cannot change our schedule enough to accommodate our guests’ individual needs. There are bus connections to Springdale Arkansas and plane connections to Harrison, Arkansas, though Springfield, Missouri is the best place to fly into. If you don’t have transportation, we will be glad to come and get you. We just need a few days notice to clear the schedule.

We hope that you will enjoy our lifestyle as much as we do, wandering the property, messing with the animals, visiting with others and exploring the area. We love to hike and you are always welcome to go along.
